The Kings hosted four prospects for pre-draft workouts on Wednesday as they continue to prepare for the 2024 NBA Draft. Sacramento currently holds the Nos. 14 and 45 overall selections, and are looking to make the most of their picks.

Weber State’s Dillon Jones, Kentucky’s Trey Alexander, Pittsburgh’s Carlton Carrington, and Miami’s Kyshawn George were among the prospects who participated in the pre-draft workout. All four players are perimeter oriented, which could indicate the Kings are looking to add depth and talent to their backcourt.

With the possibility of Malik Monk leaving in NBA free agency this summer, the Kings are focused on filling any potential gaps in their roster. Following a disappointing season where they failed to make the playoffs, Sacramento is under pressure to make the right choices in the upcoming draft.

The Kings will need to make smart decisions with their draft picks to improve their team and compete in the highly competitive Western Conference. Bringing in talented prospects for pre-draft workouts is just one step in Sacramento’s journey towards building a stronger team for the future.
