AERWINS Technologies Inc. has announced the appointment of Kiran Sidu as Chairman of the Board, effective immediately. Sidhu has extensive experience as an investor, CEO and Director, serving on the boards of several early-stage tech, biotech and cannabis companies. He is also the managing member of Catalyst Capital LLC and Managing Director of Aspen Communications, an Indian outsourcing company.
AERWINS CEO, Taiji Ito, stated that Sidu’s experience in management, investment and leadership make him highly regarded, and they look forward to working with him to achieve the company’s strategic objectives. The appointment comes after the resignation of Sayama and Yamada Malehiko from AERWINS.
AERWINS has developed the air mobility platform COSMOS and the limited edition XTURISMO Hoverbike. The company’s mission is to create an air mobility society without being bound by existing concepts. The XTURISMO Limited Edition is set to be released at Fuji Speedway in October 2021 and the company is currently accepting orders. The hoverbike is also popular for disaster support, infrastructure inspection, and entertainment applications.
