England’s win over Oman in the ongoing T20 World Cup has kept them in contention for a place in the Super 8 stage of the tournament. After struggling in their first two games, England needed the win to stay alive in the competition. The defending champions had lost to Australia and had their game against Scotland washed out due to rain. However, they bounced back with a dominant 8-wicket victory over Oman, bowling them out for 47 and chasing it down in just 3.1 overs.
