La’el Collins is prepared to dominate with the Bills

Tackle La’el Collins suffered a severe knee injury in December 2022 and faced doubts about his ability to return to full health as he worked his way back last season. Despite being unemployed for most of the year, Collins ended the season on the practice squad with the Dallas Cowboys. Even though he didn’t get to play in any games during his return to the Cowboys, Collins has signed with the Buffalo Bills as a free agent this offseason with the goal of completing his comeback in the upcoming season.

Collins admitted that while he may have been physically prepared to return before the season ended, mentally he felt drained and empty. However, after working with the Bills, Collins is feeling motivated and ready to contribute. He expressed his gratitude for the opportunity with the Bills and stated his commitment to giving his all to the team and the fans. Collins emphasized his eagerness to play football, dominate on the field, and support his teammates in any way necessary.

Despite the return of tackles Dion Dawkins and Spencer Brown from last season, Collins has the versatility of playing guard, a position he excelled in during his rookie season with the Cowboys. As the Bills aim to field their best offensive line come September, Collins could potentially play a key role in that mix.
