Launching Today: Trillium Tailored Plan, a Health Plan Serving Medicaid and Uninsured Individuals

Trillium Health Resources, a healthcare organization based in the east, has announced the launch of a new healthcare plan focused on behavioral health, serving uninsured individuals and those on Medicaid across multiple counties. The plan, known as the Behavioral Health and Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities Tailored Plan or Trillium Tailored Plan for short, will begin on July 1st. Trillium Health Resources specializes in providing care for individuals with substance abuse, mental illness, and intellectual/developmental disabilities.

The new plan aims to assist individuals in managing behavioral and physical health services, specifically targeting those who are uninsured, on Medicaid, or experiencing serious mental illness, severe substance use disorders, intellectual/developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, NC Innovations Waiver members, and those on the waitlist. Trillium Health Resources states that the Trillium Tailored Plan will be available in the 46 counties it serves.

Benefits of the plan include new offerings for physical and pharmacy services, non-emergency medical transportation, a nurse line, physical health prevention programs, and Trillium Advantage, a value-added service.
