Lawsuit Filed Against Daniels Health for Alleged Patent Infringement of Drug Disposal Technology

Daniels Sharpsmart Inc., also known as Daniels Health, is currently facing patent infringement claims from Verde Environmental Technologies Inc. Verde Environmental Technologies Inc. alleges that Daniels Health is infringing on US Patent No. 8,535,711, which is titled “Medication Disposal System” and was issued on September 17, 2013. The complaint was filed in the US District Court for the District of Minnesota. According to the complaint, the technology outlined in the patent is a key component of Verde’s Deterra Drug Deactivation Disposal System.
