Lazio has reportedly come to an initial agreement with Hellas Verona left back Juan Cabal for a potential transfer to the Italian capital. The team is looking to strengthen their squad and has prioritized finding a new left back. Current players Elseid Hysaj and Luca Pellegrini have raised doubts about their reliability, prompting the search for a new addition in that position.
After engaging in talks with Hellas Verona for some time, Lazio is close to finalizing a deal for Cabal. The transfer is expected to be worth around €20 million with potential add-ons included. Cabal still has three years left on his contract with Hellas Verona. According to Nicolo Schira, Lazio has agreed to personal terms with Cabal, bringing the transfer one step closer to completion. This development allows Lazio to shift their focus to other priorities in the transfer market.
Throughout this season, Cabal, a 23-year-old Colombian, has made 22 Serie A appearances for Hellas Verona, totaling 1503 minutes of gameplay.
