Lazio have reportedly set the price for their young goalkeeper Christos Mandas, who is at a career crossroads at 22 years old. Mandas exceeded expectations in his first season in Italian football after moving from Crete FC. He had a breakthrough when first-choice goalkeeper Ivan Provedel got injured in March, proving himself as a reliable option in goal. However, Provedel returned before the end of the season, leading to Mandas potentially being sold for a profit.

Lazio president Claudio Lotito is open to selling Mandas for a fee between €15M and €18M including bonuses. The club rejected an initial bid from Manchester City offering €2M for a loan deal with an obligation to buy for €10M. The Premier League champions are reportedly preparing a new offer for the young Greek goalkeeper.

Mandas made nine Serie A appearances last season, keeping five clean sheets and conceding six goals. His contract with Lazio runs until 2028, making him an asset the club could use to generate revenue. As Mandas considers his future, the possibility of a move to a new club hangs in the balance.
