A Deluxe Edition cover for EA Sports’ “College Football 25” has been revealed through a PlayStation Store update. The cover features Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers, Michigan running back Donovan Edwards, and Colorado DB/WR Travis Hunter, alongside three other college football stars for the upcoming season. The cover art has circulated widely but has not been formally released or confirmed by EA Sports. It also includes Georgia quarterback Carson Beck, Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins, and Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe.
EA Sports released a trailer for the game in February with plans for a full reveal later in May. While the official release date has not been announced, the game is expected to arrive in July. The last college football game released by EA Sports was “NCAA Football 14” in 2013, featuring Denard Robinson on the cover. Production of the game stopped due to legal challenges regarding players’ name, image, and likeness rights. However, with the new era of NIL freedoms in college sports, EA Sports announced the return of the game on Feb. 2, 2021.
