Jacco Verhaeren, who has previously been a member of the coaching group this year, will now join the sports management team to enhance our organization with his expertise as a successful top swimming coach. He brings an outside-in view as a coach of coaches, trainer, and sports innovator. Verhaeren will focus on the personal development of all riders in the men’s and women’s teams.
Mathieu Heijboer, formerly Head of Performance, will now take on the role of leading innovation in nutrition, equipment, and training. Additionally, Heijboer will continue coaching several riders while managing his new responsibilities.
Robbert de Groot will remain an essential figure in our Development Team, which has successfully trained riders like Olav Kooij, Johannes Staune-Mittet, Per Strand Hagenes, and the Van Dijke brothers. De Groot will continue to oversee talent development within our sports management organization.
