She reached out to US President Joe Biden, acknowledging the complexities of the situation but still seeking as much assistance as possible. In a heartfelt letter to Biden last December, Liora, who is battling stage 4 brain cancer, pleaded for the chance to reunite with her daughter before her health deteriorates further.
