The victorious Indian cricket team is finally returning home after being stranded in Barbados due to hurricane Beryl. They emerged triumphant after defeating South Africa in the final match on Saturday. The team is scheduled to land in New Delhi in the early hours of Thursday and will be attending a breakfast hosted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Following the breakfast, they will participate in a victory parade riding on an open-top bus from the National Centre for Performing Arts in Nariman Point to the iconic Wankhede Stadium in the evening.

Both captain Rohit Sharma and BCCI secretary Jay Shah have taken to social media to urge fans to attend the historic event. The last time India witnessed a parade of this magnitude was when MS Dhoni led the team to their first T20 World Cup title in 2007.

The India T20 World Cup victory parade is scheduled to begin at 5 PM (IST) on Thursday, July 4. The parade will take place at Marine Drive and Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The Star Sports Network has the telecasting rights for the event and will be live streaming the special Follow The Blues edition at 9 AM, 12 PM, and 5 PM on the Star Sports channel and Star Sports YouTube.

Fans are encouraged to join in the celebration and show their support for Team India as they mark this historic moment in Indian cricket.
