After serving in the Navy and exploring the Mediterranean, he finally pursued his passion by studying art, biology, psychology, and history in college. Anderson went on to become a teacher, got married, and settled back in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, where he now writes stories and newsletters for various organizations.
