Twelve families in Delhi Township, Ohio were displaced by an apartment fire at Glenhaven Apartments at 2:40 a.m. on Sunday. Hailey Plumlee, a witness, described seeing smoke swirling in the air outside the building. Ally Magiliano, the owner of ASAP Custom Prints and Apparel, was alerted to the fire around 2:30 a.m. by a neighbor. She attempted to help by gathering donations for the victims using Facebook, as the families have lost everything in the flames.
While no one was injured in the fire, the families are in need of toiletries, sheets, towels, and kids items, including school supplies and clothes. Magiliano has been collecting donations at her print shop and is also accepting items at Delshire Elementary School. The school is also gathering gift cards to assist parents with food and gas, working in conjunction with the Red Cross.
Anyone wishing to donate items can take them to ASAP Custom Prints and Apparel or Delshire Elementary School. The community is coming together to support the families affected by this tragic event.
