Local business leaders featured at ShowMe Leadercast event in Mid-Missouri News

Twelve Columbia business owners are set to be featured at the 10th annual ShowMe Leadercast event taking place on Wednesday. The event will be held in the Columbia Woodcrest auditorium from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. These leaders will be sharing the stage with four business speakers and experts in leadership in a simulcast. The nationally-renowned speakers include Rory Vaden, David Horsager, Nicole Walters, and Ari Weinzweig. They will cover topics such as goal setting, strong leadership habits, building trust within a team, and visioning.

The event organizer, Fred Parry, promises opportunities for audience engagement, door prizes, and games to make the event both informative and engaging. Parry encourages business owners to bring key staff members to energize them and build a stronger sense of collaboration within their teams. Some local leaders attending the event include Columbia Police Chief Jill Schlude, Boone County Sheriff Dwayne Carey, and UM Board of Curators Chair Robin Wenneker.

The panel lineup includes Dwayne Carey, Caleb Rowden, Jeremy Moreland, Nim Chinniah, and Susan Hart in Panel 1 at 10:15 a.m. Panel 2 at 11:30 a.m. will feature Ed Scavone, Jill Schlude, and Todd Culley. Panel 3 at 1:30 p.m. will include Robin Wenneker, Pete Gloggner, Jennifer Bach, and Alex Demczak. The event promises to be both informative and inspiring for local business owners and their teams.
