The U.S. Youth Soccer Midwest Presidents Cup began on Friday at Yankton Trail Park in Sioux Falls and is expected to bring around 6,000 people to the city. The tournament is not only bustling on the soccer fields but also attracting more foot traffic to a nearby dessert shop.
At Oh My Cupcakes!, the kitchen manager McKenna Geringer shared that they are busier than usual due to the tournament. Many people are coming in for a sweet treat after playing soccer all day. With teams from over 12 states participating in the tournament, Geringer enjoys meeting new customers who have traveled from different areas.
To cater to the increased demand, Oh My Cupcakes! is offering deals on their cupcake parfaits. The shop bakes cupcakes fresh every day from scratch, starting at 3:30 a.m. Geringer ensures they have enough cupcakes for the influx of customers who stop by after their games.
Oh My Cupcakes! is open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., except for Sundays. The soccer tournament is scheduled to conclude on June 18th.
