Apart from the right knee sprain and left ankle soreness that he had been dealing with for some time, a thoracic contusion was added to Dončić’s injury report. This chest wall bruise was seen in a video from practice where Dončić could be seen grimacing and clutching his chest.
Despite his injuries, Dončić played in Game One, scoring 30 points but only managing one assist in the Mavericks’ loss. He is now listed as questionable for Game Two, as his injuries continue to be a concern. Throughout the postseason, Luka has played in multiple games where he was listed as questionable.
The Mavericks will face the Boston Celtics in Game Two at 7 p.m. on Sunday, with Luka Dončić’s availability uncertain due to his recent thoracic contusion. Fans will have to wait and see if he will be able to take the court and lead the Mavericks to victory in this crucial match-up.
