Maggie Brickerman is a notable woman in technology who joined gener8tor in 2014 as the company’s second employee and is now one of seven partners. Gener8tor has grown to have over 120 full-time employees in 46 cities, 22 states, and three countries. Before joining gener8tor, Brickerman had a decade of experience working in Wisconsin politics.
According to Troy Vosseller, co-founder of gener8tor, Brickerman is an entrepreneur and a leader who has made significant contributions to the entrepreneurial community in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and the United States. Together with partner Abby Kursel, Brickerman co-created gener8tor’s gBETA accelerator program and led the nationally ranked investment accelerator.
Under their leadership, gener8tor’s startup alumni, numbering over 1,400, have collectively raised more than $2 billion in follow-on venture capital and employed over 11,000 people. Notable gener8tor alumni include Fiveable, The Way Out, GenoPalate, and Bright Cellars. Their work has had a significant impact on the technology and startup ecosystem in Wisconsin and beyond.
