Joseph Sarek, also known as Joska, set a new world record for the longest abdominal plank posture held by a male. The previous record was held by Australian Danielle Scully for 9 hours, 30 minutes and 1 second in 2022. However, Joska broke this record by holding the abdominal plank for 9 hours, 38 minutes and 47 seconds. This feat was accomplished at the AVATAR Festival in May at the Park Hotel in Pilsen, Czech Republic, and was overseen by Guinness World Records judge Jack Brockbank.
Joska’s story is an inspiring one that showcases the power of personal development and the ability to push oneself beyond physical and mental limits. Five years ago, he was overweight and used to indulge in alcohol and cigarettes. However, he made a decision to make positive changes in his life and pursued personal development. He shared that his record-breaking achievement is a testament to the fact that no matter one’s age or current circumstances, anyone can make positive changes to feel happier, more energetic, and healthier.
Joska’s record-breaking feat serves as an inspiration to others that it is possible to overcome any uncomfortable situation and push physical and mental limits beyond the limits of imagination. By spreading this message, he hopes to inspire others to embark on their personal development journeys and achieve their goals.
