Manchester United are in talks to sign Brighton forward Elisabeth Terland on a free transfer. Terland, who scored 15 goals in 28 appearances last season, is out of contract this summer and United hope to secure a deal soon. The Norway international was Brighton’s top-scorer and even scored against United in a WSL match.

In addition to pursuing Terland, United are also facing the potential departure of key players. Goalkeeper Mary Earps is set to join Paris St-Germain after declining a contract offer from United. The club had been in negotiations with Earps for several months but were unable to come to an agreement.

Forward Lucia Garcia, who scored twice in the Women’s FA Cup final, is also expected to leave United to join Mexican champions Monterey. Her departure would be a significant loss for the club as she played a crucial role in their cup victory.

There is uncertainty surrounding the future of captain Katie Zelem, who is also out of contract. A decision has yet to be made on whether she will stay or leave the club. United are expected to be busy in the transfer market as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the upcoming season.
