You’re not that special. Please listen. No disrespect, but everyone deals with hurdles, distractions, and axes. Thinking that you are the only one dealing with your disability frees you from feeling like you can’t do anything. Then we succumb to whatever fire we need to extinguish next. Without us realizing it, our days are filled with reacting to anyone or anything that says we “need” you to put out a fire or complete a task. The problem here is that this becomes a big part of your life. It just leads to a hamster wheel that ultimately ends in burnout and exhaustion.
Contrary to popular opinion and smokescreens you see on your Instagram feed, you don’t have to structure your business the way it runs you. There’s a better way! Run your business instead. There’s no process or automation to do the heavy lifting, so you’ll have to do it yourself. After all, whenever that happens, marriage, family, and other important things take a backseat. They win the rest and the best of you.
