Manchester United defender becomes top priority for Serie A club

It has been reported that Manchester United is looking to offload Aaron Wan-Bissaka for the best price this summer. Reports from Italy suggest AS Roma are interested in signing him, but Wan-Bissaka’s preference is said to be a return to London, potentially with Crystal Palace or another London-based club. However, it is unlikely that Arsenal, Chelsea, or Tottenham will show interest in signing Wan-Bissaka.

According to CalcioMercato.com, Roma have reportedly joined the race to sign Wan-Bissaka from Manchester United. His contract with United expires next year, so this summer may be the club’s last chance to sell him for a good price. Wan-Bissaka has also been linked with Inter Milan and more recently with Galatasaray.

At United, Wan-Bissaka has reportedly lost the battle with Diogo Dalot for the right-back position. It may be time for the club to bring in a younger right-back to compete with Dalot for a place in the team. One player that United has been linked with in the past is Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong, but it is unclear if there will be funds available to sign a new right-back this summer.
