The Central High School football team is set to continue its journey in the PIAA Class 3A playoffs close to home on Friday. As the District 6 champ, Central will face off against District 10 champ Hickory at Mansion Park at 7 p.m. The team is coming off a double-overtime victory over Clearfield in its first interdistrict game.
Fresh off its first-ever District 6 championship, Cambria Heights will be heading to the state Class 1A playoffs with a Saturday matchup against District 4 champ South Williamsport. The game will take place at Williamsport High School at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
In addition, District 6 2A champ Bald Eagle Area will be playing at District 4 champ Southern Columbia at 7 p.m. on Friday, while District 6 4A champ Juniata will visit District 4 champ Selinsgrove, also at 7 p.m. on Friday.
