The fall and winter sports seasons are in full swing, with star student-athletes shining across various sporting events. After a weekend of cross country meets, the last fall sport on the table is football. Long distance runners, football players, and standout soccer players have recently shown off their talents.
This week, three top ten finishers from the cross country state series have emerged, along with standout performances from regional semifinal football games. Additionally, Belleview’s Selvin Banegas Rodas has led his team to an early undefeated record on the soccer pitch.
It is possible to vote once per hour for your favorite athlete and share the poll on social media so friends and family can participate too. Voting will close Thursday at 2 p.m. with results to be posted on Friday morning.
