OhioHealth recently announced the addition of Marion Women’s Health Center to their family of healthcare providers, with the effective date being June 30, 2024. The center will continue to operate at its current location on 960 S Prospect Street but will now be known as OhioHealth Physician Group Obstetrics and Gynecology. Patients can expect their medical records to be transferred to OhioHealth Physician Group for continued access by their physicians.
Jim Parobek, president of OhioHealth Marion General Hospital, expressed his excitement over the partnership with Marion Women’s Health Center. Dr. Deepi Bathini, Vice President of Clinical Affairs at Marion General Hospital, emphasized the importance of providing quality care close to home for patients.
Dr. Jay Moodley, a veteran with 30 years of experience in Marion, is looking forward to joining OhioHealth. He, along with Allie Branham, CNM, Qin Huang, CNM, and Emma Trusty, CNM, will continue to provide care at the practice. Dr. Moodly expressed his enthusiasm for being able to maintain the same level of care for his patients while also supporting the Marion community and surrounding areas through this new partnership.
