Matchups & Schedule for the 2023 Wrestling World Team Trial Challenge Tournament

The 2023 World Team Trial Challenge Tournament is set to be held in Colorado Springs, Colorado on Saturday, May 20th and Sunday, May 21st. The winner of each weight class will move on to Final X and compete in a best-of-three series against another opponent for a chance to secure a spot on the USA’s World Team.

The tournament schedule is broken down into three different sessions for each day, with times listed in Mountain Time. On Saturday, May 20th, the Greco-Roman Session I will take place from 10:00am to 1:30pm. This will include qualifiers, quarterfinals, semifinals, and repechage. Session II will occur from 3:00pm to 4:15pm and focus on losers repechage semifinals. Session III, from 4:30pm to 6:00pm, will feature the finals and 3rd place matches. The DCC Wrestling Room will be available for training during this time period.

The Men’s and Women’s Freestyle Session I will take place on Sunday, May 21st from 10:00am to 2:00pm. This session will include qualifiers, quarterfinals, semifinals, and repechage. The last entry will determine the loser. Session II will occur from 3:00pm to 4:00pm and focus on repechage semi-finals. Finally, Session III from 4:30pm to 6:00pm will feature the World Team Trial Finals and 3rd place matches.
