Matt Roloff of Little People, Big World released from hospital following complications from a “routine” procedure.

Little People, Big World’s Matt Roloff recently underwent what was supposed to be a routine procedure called upper endoscopy. However, he was discharged from the hospital with complications. The 61-year-old reality star posted a picture of his son in a hospital bed on social media, explaining the situation. He did not provide details about the complications but appeared to be optimistic about the outcome.

An upper endoscopy is a medical procedure used to visually examine the upper digestive system. It involves using a small camera at the end of a long, flexible tube. Matt Roloff did not reveal the exact issue with his procedure but stated that there were unexpected twists and turns all the way down to the stomach.

Matt’s fans quickly responded to his post, wishing him a speedy recovery. He has been an integral part of Little People, Big World since the show’s inception in 2006. The show has focused more on his son Zack, his wife Tori, and their growing family in recent seasons.

Matt got engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, in April. They both run Roloff Farms, and Matt now offers short-term rentals of the main house on the farm during the annual Pumpkin Festival.

The Q&A on Instagram in December 2022 revealed that Zach’s wife, Tori, believes their era on the show is coming to an end. However, the family is enjoying their current time on the show and dislikes the misconceptions that people have about them that come from only seeing what TLC shows.
