Matt Ryan, a four-time Pro Bowl quarterback and NFL Most Valuable Player, becomes an NFL analyst for CBS Sports.

Matt Ryan, the 2016 NFL MVP and four-time Pro Bowl quarterback, has officially joined CBS Sports as an NFL analyst. As part of his new role, Ryan will serve as both a studio and game analyst for all CBS Sports platforms. He will also convene select NFL teams to CBS games and make appearances on popular shows such as “The NFL Today,” “The Other Pregame Show (TOPS),” “NFL Monday QB,” and CBS Sports HQ.

Harold Bryant, Executive Producer and Executive Vice President of Production at CBS Sports, welcomed Ryan’s arrival and stated that he was pleased to add the talented quarterback to the network’s roster of NFL analysts. According to Bryant, Ryan’s experience playing at the highest level of the sport will bring a fresh new perspective to CBS Sports. The network is thrilled to have him share his knowledge, insights, and opinions with viewers.

Ryan, who is currently in his 15th season in the NFL, was selected by the Atlanta Falcons with the 3rd overall pick in the 2008 NFL Draft out of Boston College. He most recently spent the 2022 season with the Indianapolis Colts. Throughout his career, Ryan has consistently been one of the most prolific quarterbacks in NFL history, ranking in the top 10 for categories such as passing yards, touchdowns, completed passes, and attempts. He also holds several records, including the most passing yards in a player’s first 14 years and the most completed passes in a player’s first 15 years.

In addition to his impressive football career, Ryan has expressed excitement about his new role with CBS Sports. He considers it an honor to join the network’s talented team and looks forward to working with and learning from some of the best teammates in the industry.
