Luka Doncic dominated the first half of the game, scoring 25 of his 29 points to help the Dallas Mavericks stay alive in the NBA Finals. Kyrie Irving also contributed with 21 points as the Mavericks beat the Boston Celtics 122-84 in Game 4.
The Mavericks had a strong start, leading by 13 points after the first quarter and extending their lead to 26 points at halftime. By the third quarter, they were up by as many as 38 points before both teams put in their bench players.
The final margin of 38 points was the third-largest in NBA Finals history, behind only two other games. The Celtics suffered their worst loss in NBA Finals history, being defeated by a much larger margin than their previous record.
Despite the massive win for the Mavericks, the Celtics still hold a 3-1 lead in the series. The next game will be played in Boston on Monday, where the Mavericks will be looking to continue their momentum and force a Game 6.
