Authorities recommend that anyone showing symptoms should contact their healthcare provider before visiting any healthcare facility.

Public Health Commissioner Robbie Goldstein, MD, PhD emphasized that measles is a highly contagious airborne disease with an increase in cases and outbreaks worldwide. He further stated that unvaccinated individuals are at a higher risk of infection, and vaccination is the best way to protect oneself from this disease.
