Jets left tackle Mekhi Becton had to leave Sunday’s game early due to an ankle injury. He did not return and was carted back to the locker room for further evaluation. Head coach Robert Saleh mentioned that there would be more tests done on Becton after the game, with reports indicating that he would undergo an MRI on Monday. In Becton’s absence, rookie Carter Warren took over for him. This caused the Jets to start their seventh different offensive line combination of the season on Sunday. The results of Monday’s test will help determine the likelihood of using an eighth combination against the Dolphins on Friday.
