Mercy Health will celebrate their Mardi Gras and All that Jazz celebration on Feb. 13 at 6 p.m. at the Carson Center. All proceeds from the celebration will benefit the Mercy Health Foundation at Lourdes. According to a news release from Mercy Health, the event features Cajun food and drinks from the area’s most popular restaurants, live music, and several entertainers to get partygoers marching and dancing. There will also be free masks and beads at the event so guests can celebrate Fat Tuesday style.
The evening will support Mercy Health — Lourdes Hospital, since proceeds from the event will fund improvements and upgrades of the facility and its services. Past proceeds from the annual event have funded new pediatric rooms, an epilepsy monitoring unit, 3D breast cancer technology, and a pediatric intubation device for the hospital’s emergency room. Mercy Health’s most recent Mardi Gras and All that Jazz event raised more than $60,000. In total, the event has raised more than $1 million since it first began in 2022.Individual tickets are $150 at the door.
