Michael Penix recently concluded his impressive college football career by making an appearance in the College Football Playoff National Championship as the quarterback for Kalen DeBoer and the Washington Huskies. Following this accomplishment, Penix was drafted in the first round by the Atlanta Falcons, positioning him to become a rising star in the NFL.
Throughout his college career, Penix played under DeBoer’s guidance for a total of three seasons – one with the Indiana Hoosiers in 2019 and the last two seasons with the Washington Huskies. Over the weekend, a photo surfaced on social media showing Penix spending time at Coach DeBoer’s new home while visiting the Alabama Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa.
Although Penix never played for the Crimson Tide, his loyalty to DeBoer was evident as he assisted the coach during a busy recruiting weekend in Tuscaloosa.
