Michigan football sophomore wide receiver Semaj Morgan has quickly become a fan favorite, bringing his unique personality to the team. Originally arriving from West Bloomfield as an early enrollee, Morgan wore No. 12 before switching to No. 82 later in the season. However, with the previous owner of No. 0, Darrius Clemons, transferring to Oregon State, Morgan saw an opportunity to claim the number for himself.
During his annual Father’s Day camp, Morgan announced that he would be switching to No. 0 for the upcoming season. This number has only been allowed in college football for a few years, with Giles Jackson and Mike Sainristil also wearing it in the past. Clemons was the most recent wide receiver to wear No. 0 before transferring out of Ann Arbor.
