Coach Sherrone Moore of the University of Michigan has successfully recruited top running back Donovan Johnson from IMG Academy in Florida. Johnson, a 2025 All-American, has committed to the Wolverines.
According to 247Sports, Johnson is a three-star prospect who will showcase his skills in the annual East vs. West matchup at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The game will be televised nationally on NBC and Peacock and will feature the top 100 high school football players in the country.
The All-American Bowl, owned by NBC Sports, is a prestigious event that is part of a lineup that includes the Olympics, the Premier League, and Sunday Night Football, the #1 primetime show for the past 13 years. The Bowl is the most-watched and talked-about high school all-star event, with over four million unique television viewers and more than 20,000 fans in attendance.
The history and tradition of the All-American Bowl is unmatched, with 594 draft picks, 93 Super Bowl champions, 247 Pro Bowl selections, and 18 Heisman finalists having participated in the event.
