St. Mark Lutheran Church in Howard is going to host a free technology class focused on online prescription drug resources. The class will take place at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 7 and is aimed at individuals aged 50 and older. It is organized by the Mid-State Literacy Council in collaboration with Senior Planet from AARP as part of a program to assist older adults in acquiring online skills.
During the in-person class on May 7, participants will be taught how to research, purchase, and save on prescription drugs using various online tools. The Mid-State Literacy Council, a nonprofit organization established in 1971, works towards bringing literacy in all its forms to adults in Centre and Clearfield counties.
