The highly anticipated fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul has been rescheduled for November 15th after Tyson fell ill on a flight last month. Originally set for July 20th in Arlington, Texas, the fight will now take place at AT&T Stadium and will be aired on Netflix. Tyson, the former world heavyweight champion, became ill during a flight from Miami to Los Angeles, but has since recovered and is looking forward to training for the fight.

Tyson, who will turn 58 on June 30th, expressed gratitude for the medical staff who treated him and for the efforts made by Netflix, AT&T Stadium, and others to reschedule the fight. He is confident that he will win the match, stating that he will knock out Jake Paul when they finally step into the ring. The new fight date falls on a Friday to accommodate the Dallas Cowboys’ game against the Houston Texans on November 18th.

Nakisa Bidarian, co-founder of Most Valuable Promotions, emphasized the importance of rescheduling the fight to ensure that both Tyson and Paul have equal training time. Despite not having fought professionally since 2005, Tyson has been training regularly and is prepared to take on Paul. The fight promises to be a spectacle for fans of the sport, building on Tyson’s last exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. in November 2020.
