One man has been arrested in Minot, North Dakota and is facing multiple charges after causing a disturbance at a business in Southeast Minot on June 24. The Minot Police Department responded to a call at 11:45 a.m. reporting that a 40-year-old man without a fixed address was arguing with another customer at the business and made threats to kill all customers present. When officers arrived, they found the suspect still actively engaged in an argument.
The man refused to cooperate with officer commands and was subsequently arrested and taken to the Ward County Jail without further incident. He is currently facing seven counts of Terrorizing and Preventing Arrest or Discharge of Other Duties, all of which are Class C Felonies. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the altercation. The Minot Police Department confirmed that it was an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
