Mohawk Technology honored with 2024 Michigan Company to Watch Award from Michigan Celebrates Small Business

A Keweenaw Peninsula company, Mohawk Technology, was recently honored as a business to watch by Michigan Celebrates Small Business. At the annual Michigan Celebrates Small Business awards gala last month, Mohawk Technology received the 2024 Michigan Companies to Watch Award. The company’s founder and CEO, Jay Isaacson, expressed that the award is a result of the hard work put in by the Mohawk Technology staff over the years. Director of Operations Nick Peterson also shared his gratitude for the opportunity to represent the company and network with other exceptional business leaders.

Over the past three years, Mohawk Technology has been focused on completing capital improvement projects at three locations. This has led to the establishment of new process and mechatronics shops, as well as a panel testing facility. Specializing in automation engineering, Mohawk Technology has two primary units – a process group and a mechatronics group. Last year, the company celebrated its 10th year in business, providing employment to over 50 people.
