Monroe to hold Southwestern Wisconsin Creative Economy Summit

The Southwest Wisconsin Creative Economy Summit, hosted by Create Wisconsin, Prosperity Southwest, Lafayette County Economic Development Corporation and Green County Development Corporation, aims to bring together individuals from various sectors to explore how creativity can drive economic growth in the region. The event will take place at the Monroe Arts Center on June 19th from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Attendees are encouraged to include local leaders, entrepreneurs, artists, elected officials, non-profit and community groups, service clubs, educators, and anyone interested in discussing innovative solutions to bolster economic prosperity. The summit will focus on the role of arts and creativity in economic vitality, with the goal of identifying current assets and creating action steps to expand opportunities for all in the region.

By fostering collaboration between different stakeholders, the summit aims to spark conversations on placemaking, community engagement, and economic and workforce development. Through these discussions, participants will explore how creativity can drive sustainable economic growth and foster innovation in southwest Wisconsin.
