Mooney appointed vice president of business development at Parkridge, plus other career moves in the Chattanooga area

Chessie Mooney has been named vice president of business development for Parkridge Health System.

She will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and cultivating existing relationships in the role. She comes to Parkridge from Parkland Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, where she was the director of physician practice management. She earned her Master of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Dalton State College.

The Chattanooga-based health system includes the Parkridge Medical Center, Parkridge East Hospital and Parkridge Valley Hospital.

Mooney also works with the Greater Ooltewah Council of the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Leadership Chattanooga Alumni Association. She is also pursuing a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Other career moves in the Chattanooga area include:

-Clayton Fercher has been named vice president of regulatory affairs at Chattem, Inc.
-Boston Lopez joins Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga as a construction site supervisor.
-Trenton Smith has been appointed as an associate in Miller & Martin’s Chattanooga office.
