During the NASCAR Cup Series race at Nashville Superspeedway, inclement weather caused a temporary red flag. Lightning and rain forced the race to pause on Lap 136 of the Ally 400, leading to the fourth caution period of the day. The field was brought to pit road and stopped on Lap 137, with Christopher Bell leading the race ahead of Tyler Reddick, Kyle Larson, Brad Keselowski, and Chase Elliott. The top 10 also included Denny Hamlin, Chris Buescher, William Byron, Martin Truex Jr., and Carson Hocevar.

Earlier in the race, John Hunter Nemechek spun out at Lap 116, causing the second caution of the day due to an on-track incident. Ten laps later, Ty Gibbs also spun, resulting in the third yellow flag of the event. The red flag was lifted around 6:40 p.m. ET with racing set to resume at the end of Lap 140.
