National Sound Mind and Sound Body Contest Winners Announced by ASICS and BSN Sports

ASICS and BSN SPORTS have announced the winners of the ASICS x BSN SPORTS Sound Mind, Sound Body Contest, which aims to support youth programs across the United States. The four winning schools are ASICS x BSN SPORTS Shelby County School District Cross Country Program in Columbiana, Alabama; Kankakee School District 111 Track and Field Program in Kankakee, Illinois; Shiloh High School Volleyball Program in Snellville, Georgia; and New Albany – Floyd County Unified School District Wrestling Program Albany, Indiana. Each winning school will receive a cash award of $12,000 to strengthen their programs and inspire confidence in their athletes.

BSN SPORTS President Terry Babila stated that all evaluated programs qualified for the award, adding that the passion, energy, and love of the young athletes for their respective sports was evident through their submission videos. With the cash prize, winning schools can obtain much-needed equipment and resources to support and improve their youth programs.

In addition to the cash prize, the four winning schools will also be awarded free professional development sessions through the Believe in You Empowerment Program. Developed by Varsity Brands, the parent company of BSN SPORTS, the program empowers teachers and coaches to promote character education and leadership development to guide students in unlocking their potential and striving for their goals. The program offers free resources and curricula.
