According to the latest NCAA Football video game rankings, Nebraska still has work to do in order to compete with the top teams in college football. The Huskers were notably absent from all of the Top 25 ratings in EA Sports College Football’s video game, including rankings for toughest stadium atmospheres, top offenses, and top defenses. The latest edition of the EA Sports college football franchise left Nebraska off their newly created Top 25 overall teams list, which is determined by averaging offensive, defensive, and special teams evaluations.

Nebraska’s specific rating was not disclosed, but five of their opponents in 2024 made the list. Teams such as Ohio State, Colorado, Wisconsin, USC, and Iowa were listed with varying overall ratings. The top spot in the rankings went to Georgia, followed by Ohio State and Oregon. Alabama and Texas rounded out the top five teams. Other Big Ten schools in the Top 25 included Penn State, Michigan, Wisconsin, USC, and Iowa, showcasing the strength of the conference. The Big Ten and SEC each had seven teams represented in the Top 25 rankings.

EA Sports College Football 25 is set to launch on July 19, with more information about the game to be released in the coming weeks. Fans can stay updated on all things related to the Huskers by following All Huskers, HuskerMax on social media, and visiting HuskerMax.com regularly. With some of their upcoming opponents making the Top 25 list, Nebraska will need to work hard to elevate their program and compete with the best in college football.
