The Nebraska Cornhuskers have extended a scholarship offer to Bralan Womack, a highly-rated defensive back from Hartfield Academy in Flowood, Mississippi. Womack, a class of 2026 prospect, received the offer after a conversation with Keith Williams, the director of player personnel for Nebraska.
Standing at 6 feet and weighing 196 pounds, Womack is a five-star safety and wide receiver who played a key role in Hartfield Academy’s perfect season, which culminated in a MAIS 6A State Championship win. In his sophomore year, Womack excelled on both defense and offense, recording seven interceptions, 26 tackles, and 32 catches for 562 yards and ten touchdowns.
During the state championship game, Womack showcased his skills with four catches for 104 yards, a touchdown, and three tackles. He has been a standout player for Hartfield Academy since his freshman year, earning 48 solo tackles in his debut season in 2022.
Ranked as the No. 21 overall prospect and the No. 3 safety in the 2026 class, Womack has garnered interest from several power-five schools across the country. Fans can stay updated on Nebraska news by following @CornhuskersWire on X and liking the page on Facebook for ongoing coverage.
