Nebraska recruits offensive lineman from Hawaii, Michigan State sets sights on football center

The new Michigan State coaching staff made Houston Kaahaaina-Torres, a Hawaii native, one of their top priorities in the 2025 recruiting class. Alongside Arizona State, Nebraska, and Utah, the Spartans pursued the interior offensive line target. Unfortunately, in this recruitment, Michigan State lost out to another Big Ten school.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers were the team that ultimately secured the commitment of the 3-star prospect. Despite their efforts, Michigan State was unable to sway Kaahaaina-Torres to join their program.
