The Robbins Family Ace Hardware made a generous donation of $50,000 to Children’s Miracle Network on Monday, July 1, 2024. The donation came after a successful weekend block party fundraiser held by the store. The money was raised to celebrate the hardware store’s 100th anniversary.
All the proceeds from the fundraiser came from the various Robbins’ Family Ace Hardware locations in Wichita Falls, Bowie, Iowa Park, Burkburnett, and Vernon. Manager Ben Robbins expressed that it was an honor to participate in the fundraising event and give back to the community. He mentioned feeling blessed and wanting to support a good cause that helps local children in need.
Children’s Miracle Network and United Regional will use the donated funds to promote a new neonatal premature newborn intensive care unit. This initiative will help provide critical care for premature babies and support the local community.
