Nelson and Westhead Selected for Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2024

Former Saint Joseph’s standouts Jameer Nelson and Paul Westhead have been named to the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame’s Class of 2024. The organization officials made the announcement on Tuesday. Nelson and Westhead will be honored alongside fellow inductees including George Benton, Rod Brind’Amour, Angelo Cataldi, Joan (Moore) Gnat, Brendan Hansen, Ryan Howard, Lurline Jones, Cheryl Reeve, Eddie Stanky, Andy Talley, A. W. Tillinghast, Chase Utley, and Alice Putnam Willetts. The induction ceremony will take place on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at Live! Casino & Hotel Event Center in South Philadelphia.
