This project is set to begin this year and continue through 2026. The smart technology will adapt signals to current traffic patterns, retiming them every three-to-five minutes, as opposed to the usual months or years. The goal is to reduce travel time for drivers along the Duke and Van Dorn Street corridors by approximately 10%.
