University Hospitals recently hosted a grand opening of the UH Amherst Health Center, conveniently located alongside the recently opened UH Amherst Beaver Creek Surgery Center. The UH Amherst Health Center, located at 915 N. Lake St., Suite 100, has expanded access to world-class health care in the community. This new facility serves as a central hub for comprehensive orthopedic care, offering patients a one-stop shop for world-class treatment.

The UH Amherst Health Center provides a wide range of services including orthopedic urgent care, radiology, physical therapy, ear, nose, and throat specialties, heart and vascular care, lab services, primary care, pediatrics, and women’s health. Additionally, a retail pharmacy is set to open in June to further enhance patient care at the facility.

Dr. James Voos, chair of the UH Department of Orthopedic Surgery, expressed the organization’s commitment to expanding expert care and state-of-the-art facilities in Northeast Ohio. Dr. Robert Zanotti, an orthopedic surgeon at the University Hospitals Center for Orthopedics with 27 years of experience in the Lorain County community, highlighted the team’s enthusiasm for being part of the new comprehensive health center and their dedication to providing excellent care to patients in the community for years to come.
